From the other side of the Wormhole!

Wormhole is pleased to be working with gloATL to bring two dance artists from the renowned Israel-based dance company, Inbal Pinto and Avshalom Pollak Dance Company to gloATL's summer gloINTENSIVE for two days, June 21 and 22, 2010. They will be coming to Atlanta hot off their performances at Spoleto Dance Festival in Charleston, SC, and the American Dance Festival in Durham, NC, where they are performing their new work Oyster. Shay HaramatyShay Haramaty (Dancer) Shay was born in Israel in 1981. She studied dance at the Shaar-Hanegev Dance School and at the Bat Dor Dance School. Between 2001-04 she worked with the choreographer Ido Tadmor. In 2006 she worked with Sally-Ann Friedland and joined the Israeli Opera House dance project, performing a piece by Karl Schnider. In 2007 she danced with the De De Dance Company at the Israel Festival and worked with choreographers Pieter De Roiter and Eva Vilanova in Holland. In 2004 Shay won the Mia Arbatova Dance Competition and also received the Vienna Summer Course scholarship. Shay joined the Pinto Pollak Dance Company in 2008.

Dana ShovalDana Shoval (Dancer) Dana was born in Israel in 1979. She studied at The Thelma Yellin Performing Arts School from 1993-97 and trained at the Bat Dor School of Dance in Tel-Aviv from 1987-97. In 1995, she won the Israel American Cultural Foundation scholarship for dance. In 2001 she performed with the Fresko Dance Company directed by Yoram Carmi. She has been leading dance workshops and classes in Israel. Dana joined the Pinto Pollak Dance Company in 2003
